Regular series

Albi Economici Nerbini was a series in elongated format that reprinted daily strips adventures of L'Uomo Mascherato (The Phantom) and Mandrake. The stories were previous printed in the Mistero series from 1947. The format of the Albi Economici Nerbini was 21.4 cm x 8.5 cm and 36 pages, one strip per page in b/w.

Although the issues from the Albi Economici Nerbini series were numbered from #1 to 16 it was split into two series:

  • Uomo Mascherato from: #1 to 3, #7 to 9 and #10 to 12.
  • Mandrake from: #4 to 6 and #13 to 16.

Note: Issues 1-3 and 5-15 are polished by Guido Fantoni.

The issues from the regular series were later collected into albums:

  • Il lupo umano - Collects stories from issues 13 to 16. note: Prize 50 Lire.

The seven issues with Mandrake from the "Albi Economici Nerbini" series was also collected into one album, named Il lupo umano - avventure de Mandrake. note: Prize 70 Lire.
