Novo Gibi was a comic book series published by O Globo and RGE in Brazil.
History
The first issue (#1740) of "Novo Gibi" was launched on June 1, 1950. The series was published fortnightly in 19 x 28 cm format. The issues numbering succeed to the one used for "Gibi" series. In the latter the various stories were continued over the weeks when "Novo Gibi" published full stories in each issue.
The series ended with issue # 1842 on December 1954.
