The Mole is a character from the Mandrake the Magician comic strip that first appeared in "The Mole".

Fictional Character Biography

The Mole were a physicist working with laser beams and developed a super-laser beam. A hundres times more powerful than any known. It cut through stone like a hot knife thru butter.

He made himself an outfit, with the laser beam on his helmet and powerful jet motors on his back. With his outfit he could move underground in solid bedrock, like a fish through wather.

The Mole was born, and he became one of the strangest and most deadly thief in the history of crime.
