History
Issue overview
Series in Aventurero were: "Flash Gordon", "Terry and the Pirates", "Jungle Jim", "Secret Agent X-9", "The Phantom", "Mandrake", "Brick Bradford", "The Lone Ranger" and "Radio Patrol", among others.
Regular series
In 1935 the publisher Hispano Americana launched the magazine Aventurero, after the same model as the Italian magazine L'Avventuroso.

The series had 165 issues plus one extraordinary ordinary issue.
US Comic characters published in Aventurero were: "Flash Gordon", "Terry and the Pirates", "Jungle Jim", "Secret Agent X-9", "The Phantom", "Merlín el Mago Moderno", "Brick Bradford", "The Lone Ranger" and "Radio Patrol", among others.
There are three special issues in this series: Almanaque 1936, Almanaque 1938 and Almanaque 1940, all of 27x19 cm. (except the last, of 22x16 cm.) Traditionally it has cited the existence of an Almanaque 1937 but we have not found evidence of publication.

Although the regular collection ended in December 1938, was published an Almanaque for 1940 in late 1939, perhaps with the intention of reviving the collection. Although this would not happen until 1945, when it relaunched a series titled Ediciones Aventurero.
The series run for 166 issues, with the last one as an exstraordinary issue.
