Mandrake Selezione was a Italian comic book dedicated to Mandrake published by Fratelli Spada from November 1976 to December 1979.

History

The stories in Mandrake Selezione was maily dailies by Fred Fredericks, except one sunday story and one reprint of a Fratelli Spada story. One find various back-us stories with; Agent X9, Big Ben Bolt, Captain Kate, Cino e Franco, Cisci Kid, Flash Gordon and Rip Kirby.

The series was translated into french by Editions des Remparts and sold as Mondes Mystérieux - Spécial Mandrake - Nouvelle Serie in France and Canada.

After the last issue (#19) the series was was collected into Super Mandrake albums with "new" covers.

A similar series, entitled Phantom Selezione, was also published by Fratelli Spada featuring "The Phantom".
