L'Évangéline

L'Évangéline was a a French-language daily newspaper printed in Moncton, the most populous city in the Canadian province of New Brunswick. It was published from November 23, 1887 to September 27, 1982.

Since December 18, 1953 a specific section entitled "Hebdo-Revue" was added for the youth people and the general leisure (ex: tv programs) in the Saturday edition of the newspaper.This Saturday 24 pages supplement contained articles of interest for the the young audience as well a comic section.

In this weekly supplement, "Mandrake the Magician" Sunday strip appeared at least from 1970 to 1980, more precise dates remaining to be determined with more details. For a short period (early 1971), the title wa s "Le Progrès - L'Évangéline".
