Plot Summary

Mandrake and friends are on voyage with the S.S. Kraken. One night when they anchored near Taboo Isle, Lothar saw a giant bird - a roc. When he went to investigate, he was taken by the giant bird and brought to its nest in the extinct volcano on the island.
