Ildeu Moreira was a Brazilian painter, draughtsman, engraver, illustrator.

In the forties, Ildeu Moreira started his artistic studies at the School of Visual Arts in Rio de Janeiro before becoming an illustrtor for covers of the Suplemento Juvenil published by Adolfo Aizen. He later worked as an illustrator in popular magazines such as “Revista da Semana” and “O Cruzeiro” and drew several covers of the comic book "O Guri" published by editor "Diário da Noite". In 1954 he returned to his natal town of Belo Horizonte (Minas Gerais Region in Brazil) to take the chief work of the Art Departament of the newspaper "Estado de Minas". He also headed the "Warner Bros. Arts Department" in Brazil.
