Seattle Post-Intelligencer

The Seattle Post-Intelligencer is a daily newspaper published in Seattle, the most populous city in the U.S. state of Washington.
It was founded on December 10, 1863 as the weekly "Seattle Gazette", later published daily in broadsheet format. It is now published in digital form. William Randolph Hearst took over the paper in 1921, the newpaper being now owned by the "Hearst Corporation".
"Mandrake the Magician" daily strips were published at least from 1943 and remains on web line via "Comics Kingdom", the King Features Syndicate comics distributor. The Sunday edition had a comics supplement with "Mandrake the Magician" Sunday pages published in the Forties.
