The Vancouver Daily Province

The Vancouver Daily Province was founded in 1898 in Victoria (BC) as a weekly newspaper, called "The Province". The newspaper was transfered to Vancouver and on 26 March 1898 the first issue of "The Vancouver Daily Province" came out. The name was changed to "The Vancouver Province" in 1952 and to "The Province" in 1956.

Daily stories

Probably by mistake there exist three Mandrake strips in 1940; September 2, October 14 and December 36. These three stripes spanning 6 of 8 columns.
