"Taboo Land" is the 53rd Mandrake Sunday story. The story was written by Lee Falk and drawn by Phil Davis.

Plot Summary

Mr. Bucks' only son was an explorer. Fifteen years ago he took his wife and their little girl on an expedition to find Taboo Land". They were abushed by savages and Mr. Bucks gave them up for dead years ago.

Now Mr. Bucks read an article in the paper, about a white queen in Taboo Land. Could she be Diane, his missing granddaughter ? He hired Mandrake to lead a safari into the unknown Taboo Land to find out.

Beyond the misty mountains, sourrounden by volcanos, our friends discovered an ancient Mayan city. A magnificent ancient civilization with a white queen.
