The series called "L'Avventura Albo tascabile" was released in Italy in 1949 ("anno I": 16 issues) and 1950 ("anno II": 10 issues) by the editor Capriotti.
It was devoted to various comics characters, such as "The Phantom", "Tim Tyler's Luck", "Popeye", "Jungle Jim", "Brick Bradford", "King of the royal Mounted", "Phil Corrigan", "Little King" and "Hubert".
"Mandrake the Magician appears only in five issues of the "anno II" (year II) issues.
