"The Ice Lady" is the 34th Mandrake daily story. The story was written by Lee Falk and drawn by Phil Davis. This story exists in two variants, one made to span four newspaper columns, the other to span five. The five-column variant is cropped in the lower part.

Plot Summary

A strange lady has the mysterious power to freeze other people. With her unusual force, this "Ice Lady" is able to transform a steel structure into pure iced piece. For that, she uses a specific gas, the Iceotene, which transforms her victims into statues.
