The Baltimore News-Post

The Baltimore News-Post is a daily newspaper published in Baltimore, the most populous city in the U.S. state of Maryland.

It was the reunion of two previous newspapers, "The News" and of "The Baltimore Post", respectively founded in 1873 and 1922.

In 1964 "The Baltimore News-Post" and" The Baltimore Sunday American" merged together to form "The News American" published until May 27, 1986.

"Mandrake the Magician" daily strips were published - at least - between 1941 to 1949 in the newspaper (precise dates remaining to be determined).
