Issue overview

A large sized series published in 1953-1954 featuring several comics, including: "Dick Tracy", "Beetle Baily", "Terry and the Pirates", "Pogo", "Rip Kirby", "Steve Canyon", "Big Ben Bolt", "The Saint", "Brick Bradford", "Flash Gordon", "King Aroo", "Mandrake the Magician" and many others. The magazine were published in Hawaii, and some pages were devoted to stories and photos of hollywood star.

This serie is partly indexed at GCD. It looks like the series started bi-monthly with volum I #1 on January 15, 1953. Volum I ended with issue 11, and volum II started with issue 1 on July 1, 1953. The series continued monthly from September (volum II #5). In February 1954 the title changed to Stateside and it looks like the series ended with issue 11.

"Mandrake the Magician" appared in the first volum, with the story "The Jungle Witch", and 14 strips in each issue.
