La Prensa (Honduras)

La Prensa (="The Press") is a daily Spanish language newspaper published in the city of San Pedro Sula, capital of Cortés Department, Honduras.

The newspaper was founded in October 26, 1964.

The Mandrake" Sunday strip was featured in the Sunday color supplement of "La Prensa" in the seventies (more precise dates remaining to be determined).

Amongst other comics published in the "La Prensa" Sunday edition were classical comics such as: "El Fantasma" ("The Phantom"), "El Raton Mickey" ("Mickey Mouse"), "El tio Ramus" ("Uncle Ramus"), "Donald" ("Donald Duck"), "Pillin" ("Scamap"), "Henry", "Archie", "Piluca" ("Ponytail")...
