"Komik Marabunta" is an Indonesian publisher.

Issue overview

"Komik Marabunta" publihed a limited comic series ("terbit terbatas" as written on the cover) dedicated to American classical comics such as: "Flash Gordon", "Rip Kirby", "Johnny Hazard", "Mandrake the Magician", "Batman" "The Phantom", "Tarzan" "Superman" "Modesty Blaise" "Rogue Trooper" "Zorro" "Dick Tracy", "Secret Agent X-9","Garth" and on. The issues the covers often reproduce the ones originally published in the USA, and particularly in the "King Comics" series released during the sixties. The format looks the same, but the inside stories are in black and white instead of the original colors. The texts are in Indonesian.
