Kippari Kalle is a Finnish publication, published between 1952 and 1954.

History

Sanoma Osakeyhtiö published the first issue of a title called Kippari Kalle in 1952. Inside one find Blondie by Chic Young, Prins Valiant by Hal Foster, Rip Kirby by Alex Raymond, Fantomet by Lee Falk and Wilson McCoy / Ray Moore, Felix by Otto Messmer. Mandrake was named Maaron in this series.

Corresponding titles were published in Denmark (cf. Fantomhefte), Germany (cf. Phantom-Heft), Norway(cf. Fantom-hefte) and a similar serie in Sweden (cf. Stjärnbragder).
