Confidences was a women weekly magazine founded in 1938 by "Paul Winkler" who was also founder of the "Le journal de Mickey" and of "Hardi présente"; Furthermore he was President of the Press agency "Opera Mundi" having the publishing rights for France of the comics depending of "King Features Syndicate". In the sixties, Sunday pages reprints of several comics characters were featured inside, with amongst them "Mandrake the Magician. The magazine ended in 1986.
