Carlo Cedroni (1925-2008) was an Italian artist.

Biography

Carlo Cedroni - also known as Pete West - was born February 23, 1925 in Velletri (Province of Rome).

His drawn beginnings occurred in 1953 with "Colorado Kid".

After having worked for French editors in the late fifties and early sixties, he drew several Mandrake the Magician stories and some "L’Uomo Mascherato" ("The Phantom") covers for the Italian publisher Fratelli Spada from 1964 to 1968.

Amongst his others works were comics like "Il grande Blek", "Colorado Kid","Trapper John","Mocassino Nero","Hondo","Nick Reporter","Drago","Lone Bardo","Bayard".

He founded a drawning studio with several artists such as Luciano Bernasconi.

Carlo Cedroni died October 24, 2008 in Ciampino (Province of Rome), his last years being devoted to painting.
