Aventurero Almanaque

There are three special issues in this series: Almanaque 1936, Almanaque 1938 and Almanaque 1940 (size 27x19 cm except the last issue 22x16 cm.) The existence of an Almanaque 1937 is traditionally mentioned but no evidence of real publication has been found.

Although the regular collection ended in December 1938 the Almanaque 1940 was released in late 1939, perhaps with the intention of reviving the collection. However this would not happen until 1945 with a relaunched series entitled Ediciones Aventurero.

Issues with Mandrake

Ediciones Aventurero

Hispano Americana relaunched "Aventurero" in 1945 under the title Ediciones Aventurero. The new series ran for 31 issues. The new series had more focus on Spanish produced and did not print any Mandrake stories.

Almanaque Aventurero

In the series an Almanaque Aventurero was released in 1946, containing one Mandrake story.

Issues with Mandrake

Third series

In 1953 Ediciones Futuro (previously believed to be Ediciones Cliper) bought the rights from Hispano Americana. 38 issues were released in this new series, none with Mandrake stories.
