Behind the scenes

  • The title for the story is lifted from the plot.
  • Mandrake is retelling the story The Butterfly Man in the first part of the story.
  • Mystery: In the strip of November 3 Mandrake continues on to tell the Butterfly Man story, and Lothar says he also saw the man with the butterfly net. It's a bit strange. Many years ago Mandrake disappeared in midair, while Lothar watching. Despite the fact that Narda thought it sounded impossible she joined Lothar in his search for Mandrake. Now, as Mandrake tells the story, it shows that he never spoke about his experiences in the parallel universe, neither to Narda or Lothar.
