ΒΕΛΟΣ was a weekly magazine published by the Greec publisher ΤΕΡΖΟΠΟΥΛΟΣ.

History

ΒΕΛΟΣ printed the first issue July 2, 1968 and run for 90 issues (April 14, 1970). Inside the magazine printed various comics; Flash Gordon (ΦΛΑΣ ΓΚΟΡΝΤΟΝ) by Dan Barry, Tin Tin (ΤΕΝ ΤΕΝ) by Herge, Tim Tyler (ΤΙΜ ΤΑΫΛΕΡ) by Lyman Young, ΦΑΝΤΑΣΜΑ by Lee Falk and Sy Barry, Mandrake the magician (Μαντρέϊκ Ο Μάγος) by Lee Falk and Phil Davis, and on.

At the end the weekly magazine became a fortnightly magazine. The first 57 issues meassures 19x25 cm and issues 58-90 12x19 cm. The magazine first had 36 pgs, then 44, 52, 44, 68 and 100 pgs. The comics were printed in pages in color and pages in black and white.

The Mandrake stories was:

  • "Στην Θάλασσα Των Σαργασσών", in issue 18 to 27.
  • "Βοήθεια!...Τα Ρομπότ!!!", in issue 34.
  • "Ο Πόλεμος Των Δελφινιών", in issue 61.
  • "Η Παγίδα Του Δοκτορος Φέλιξ", in issue 90.
