Fictional Character Biography

Mandrake was completely unaware that he had a nephew until a young man made[1] an unexpected visit to Xanadu. The young man introduced himself as Eric, son of Mandrake's half-brother Derek. He had come to ask for a favor since his father was in a desperate situation. Derek was scheduled to be executed by a firing squad in the country of Tranquilla in 48 houres, due to cheating general Regaz in a card game and having a romance with the dictators wife.

Mandrake headed to Tranquilla and with help from the general's wife he managed to get inside cell 13 and switch identity with his twin brother. Both Derek and mandrake managed to escaped Tranquilla, but Derek had an unusual way to thank his brother for help. Still disguised as Mandrake, Derek managed to clean out Mandrake's entire bank account, and disappeared.

Eric, who had been at Xanadu with Narda and Hojo, politely declined to continue his stay. He put on his backpack and went to search for his father, to try to turn him around.

The next time Mandrake and Eric met[2] was when Mandrake was helping with a mysterious case up at Timber Lake. It turned out that Eric was imprisoned in the case and suspected of being a vampire. The case was solved and Eric put on his backpack and continued his search for his father.
