Rick Norwood is editor for Comics Revue magazine.

Rick Norwood, was born in Louisiana. He studied at the "Massachusetts Institute of Technology" but flunked out before getting a PhD (= Philosophiæ Doctor) in mathematics, with a subsequent career as a professor of mathematics at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee. Being a big science fiction fan he later became a member of "Los Angeles Science Fantasy Society". At the time he wrote science fiction novels and books and also participated to various comics conventions before founding in 1976, with Don Markstein, "Manuscript Press", a company that specializes in reprints of comic strips and also in previously unpublished novels by Science Fiction authors. As the editor of "Manuscript Press", he has published several ""Prince Valiant - an American Epic"" reprints and especially the bi-montly magazine "Comics Revue", now one of the longest running in comics reprint reviews.
