"The Cloud Men" is the 150th Mandrake Sunday story. The story was written by Lee Falk and drawn by Fred Fredericks.

Plot Summary

At the tiny Harrison University Professor Alberto did research on anti-gravity. He was fired in disgrace when he demand police protection from the cloud men. Now he had sent a telegram to Mandrake, asking for help.

Using professor Alberto's anti-gravity-belt Mandrake visit Cloudland and was told a strange story: Eons ago the Cloud men came to Earth, to colonize the planet. But every time they had build a new city the large dinosaurs manage to destroy them, so they had to destroy them. After they had ended the dinosaurs there were other endless problems; volcanos, floods, earthquakes, glaciers and ice ages, fierce predators, cave men and on. Then the Cloud men took to the air.
