Regular series

"Stjärnmagasinet" was the title for a weekly magazine (by Oscar Rydberg and Edwin Ahlqvist) published in the years 1935 to 1945. The magazine printed various short stories and articles, mainly focusing on sports, crime and adventure stories.

Stjärnmagasinet - med Tarzan

In 1955 the publisher Åhlen & Åkerlunds Förlag started their "Stjärnmagasinet med Tarzan", when their "Tarzan" series ceased. The magazine printed various illustrated short stories, comics, articles foucusing on sport and on. The first issue presents their member club, "Gravisklubben". The club's purpose was built around Henry Garvis Carlsson, who was to teach training advice and skills in football in the following issues. In addition, there was to be a membership lottery in each issue, where the lucky one could win a football. The short stories like "Biggles" by W E Johns and "Tvillingdetektiverna" by Sivar Ahlrud was illustrated by various artists like Göte Göransson and Björn Karlström.

The magazine printed comics such as: "Tarzan", "Blixt Gordon (Flash Gordon) by Dan Barry (dailies 1951-1952 in issues 11 to 23), "Mandrake (the Magician" by Lee Falk and Phil Davis, "Buffalo Bill" by Frederick Lawrence Meagher.
