[[Fred Fredericks]]' '''New Jersey Patriots''' ''(aka New Jersey's Patriots)'' ran for more than two years in 18 leading New Jersey newspapers. Various sources suggests that the strip started in 1956 or 1957 and ended in 1959 or 1960.

The Revolutionary war history strip was syndicated by '''Superior Features Syndicate''', probably Fredericks' self-syndication company. This was one of several historical strips done by Fredericks before being tapped for duty on [[Mandrake]].
