Ron Salas is an American illustrator and comic book artist.

Biography

Philippine-born, Ron Salas is now based in Orlando, Florida, after having studied at the International Academy of Design & Technology University of Toronto. Ron's first major comics works were "Existence 2.0 & 3.0" in 2009 and "28 Days Later" in 2010. He also drew the covers to "Dracula: The Company of Monsters" and various variant covers for comics-books as well as a back-up story in the 2014 Marvel "Amazing Spider-Man Annual #1". He has designed shirts for Planet Hollywood, Hard Rock Café, and Yosemite National Park, among others.

He has drawn one of the variant covers of the first issue of the Mandrake the Magician released in 2015 by Dynamite Entertainment. For the same editor, he also drew the second issue of "Prince Valiant" in which Mandrake appears.
