[[Luciphor|The Cobra]] considered Reptila as his favorite disciple and student, but despite several attempts she finally failed to kill Mandrake. In his rage, the Cobra took a terrible revenge. He set fire to her house, and the house burned down with her inside.

Mandrake met her the first time when he broke the spell she had on the rich Mark Beauty. She sought out a mysterious cave, where the opening looked like the head of a cobra, and called for her master of darkness. [[Luciphor|The Cobra]] considered Reptila as his favorite disciple and student and in a mixture of science and magic the image of The Cobra manifests in the cave. When The Cobra hears that Reptila have met Mandrake, his nemesis, he ordered her to kidnap Mandrake and bring him to the cave, and then kill Mandrake while his image was present. Due to Lothar Reptila failed to kill Mandrake and she managed to escape from the cave via a tunnel that went up to her luxurious mansion. In the mansion she once again failed to kill Mandrake. In his rage, the Cobra set fire to Reptila's house in a final attempt to kill Mandrake, without bothering about that Reptila also would perish in the fire.  


One may wonder if their relationship in the first story was more than a master and student relationship.
Some time after The Cobra coming to himself at the foot of a snowy mountain. Mentally, he calls on his favorite disciple and student ordering her to come to the rescue. In a remote desert The Cobra and his faithful student preparing to rule the world and get revenge on Mandrake. It seems that the relationship between Reptila and The Cobra has evolved into more than a master and student relationship. Finally, despite several attempts, both Reptila and The Cobra  failed to kill Mandrake and both ended up behind bars.
