Márcio Costa was a Brazilian cover artist.

Biography

José Márcio de Carvalho Costa began his career working for publiciy agencies. For the comics, a main part of his works was done in the 60's and 70's for the covers of the EBAL and RGE issues, such as "Principe Valiant", "Nick Holmes" (Rip Kirby), "Brucutu" (Alley Oops), "Cavaleiro Negro", "Flash Gordon", "Recruta Zero" (Beetle Bailey) and "Mandrake".
