Le Droit is a Canadian daily newspaper published in Ottawa (Ontario Province) since the 27th March 1913. A project of change (for the second part of 2020) of offices is in course with a new publishing adress situed in Gatineau (Quebec, Province), the two cities being only separated by the Ottawa River and forming now the core of the "Ottawa–Gatineau" census metropolitan area (CMA) and the National Capital Region. Note: from its beginning, the newspaper had a secondary adress in Hull, a business district and oldest neighbourhood of the city of Gatineau, Quebec.


Daily strips

  • The "Mandrake the Magician" daily strips appeared in the newspaper at least from June 1938 to March 1961 (an annoucement in the March 6, 1961 edition indicated that the next Mandrake story "Mystery of the Bikini Girl" will not be published /see image below).

Sunday pages

In the seventies, the newspaper "Le Droit" uses the "Hebdo-Revue" distribution comics section for publishing Sunday pages its own comic section released in the Saturday edition.

  • The Mandrake the Magician Sunday strips were published at least from January 2, 1971 to December 29, 1979 Saturday editions.
