Regular series

L'Audace was a weekly magazine about traveling, sports and adventure. Beginning from issue 60 the magazine start printing comics such as: Brick Bradford by William Ritt and Clarence Gray; Radio Patrol (La pattuglia volante) by Eddie Sullivan and Charlie Schmidt; Tarzan by Harold R. Foster and later Burne Hogarth; and from #87 Mandrake (under the anagram Drakeman) by Lee Falk and Phil Davis. Then followed other comics such as: Ming Foo by Nicholas Afonsky; Bring 'em back alive (Ted Towers) by Frank Buck and Glen Cravath; Tailspin Tommy by Hal Forrest; King of the Royal Mounted Police (Audax) by Charles Flanders; Popeye (Braccio di ferro) by Elzie Crisler Segar; Superman (Ciclone) by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster.

Among Italian made stories L'Audace printed: Alle frontiere del Far West by Emilio Salgari and Rino Albertarelli; Virus and Capitan l'Audace by Federico Pedrocchi and Walter Molino; Il dottor Faust by Gustavino; and various stories of other famous Italian illustrators such as Franco Caprioli and Antonio Canale.

From issues 262 (January 7, 1939) to issue 298 (September 14, 1939) L'Audace was published by Anonima Periodici Italiani di Mondadori. Issue 324 (March 28, 1940) was the last one published by S.A.E.V. and the last issues were published by I.D.E.A.. The series ended with #330 January 4, 1941.
