Indonesia Raya was an Indonesian newspaper that published Mandrake daily stories.
History
Indonesia Raya was first published as a newspaper in Jakarta on December 29 1949. In October 1958, Indonesia Raya was banned and the newspaper did not resume publication until 1968. In January 1974 Indonesia Raya was banned again.
The Mandrake stories in "Indonesia Raya" is in English text, and under each panel it is in Indonesian. The stories were reprinted into comic books, first by "Pertjetakan Perfectas" and then by "N. V. Gapura".
