History
The company was the owner of Serieförlaget, which became Åhlen & Åkerlunds ungdomstidningar and then Semic Press.
Sweden have a long tradition publishing Julalbum (X-mas album /annual) in Desember. The two first Julalbum' with Mandrake was publicated by Åhlén & Åkerlunds in 1945 and 1946, and again in 1954 and 1955.
