==Plot summary==
Arriving towards the South Pole, Miss Dory Survin, an aviator, faces a huge wall of mists and her plane dissappears. When informed of this tragic event, Mandrake and Lothar fly off to help her.
At the pole and after landing on the snow, they are suddenly attacked by a prehistoric man. The man has seen Miss Survin but tries to escape them; in fact he managed to trap Mandrake and Lothar in a pit. By hypnotically stretching the wild man's hair, Mandrake manage to use it as a rope and get out of the hole in which they were fallen down. Finally they find Dory and return to civilization with her.

"Avventura al Polo Sud" is an Italian made Mandrake story from 1962.

Plot summary

Arriving towards the South Pole, Miss Dory Survin, an aviator, faces a huge wall of mists and her plane dissappears. When informed of this tragic event, Mandrake and Lothar fly off to help her. At the pole and after landing on the snow, they are suddenly attacked by a prehistoric man. The man has seen Miss Survin but tries to escape them; in fact he managed to trap Mandrake and Lothar in a pit.
